We’ve improved our Odoo connection — new upgrades for your poker training

At Tools of Poker we keep working to offer the best possible experience to players who study and
practice online poker strategy. This week we’ve rolled out an important update:
we have completely rebuilt the connection between our website and Odoo, the backend where we manage
accounts, security, progress and (very soon) subscriptions.

This change improves the system’s speed, stability and
security, and it’s a key step to keep growing as a poker training platform.

A faster and more stable Odoo integration

The new integration makes registration, login, email verification and user management smoother.
Thanks to this, we can ship new features without interruptions and keep improving our trainers and tools over time.

This update also prepares us to introduce:

• subscription management directly inside Tools of Poker,


• usage and performance statistics,


• training progress tracking,


• advanced account settings.

What’s next for the platform

With a stronger technical foundation, we’re already working on several improvements many of you have asked for.

1. Improving our preflop charts

We’re going to upgrade our preflop charts for Spins, HU and 3-Max, making them more consistent with
solver-like logic. The goal is to make these charts more useful to study preflop ranges and take better decisions in
your real games.

Among other things, we’ll be working on:

• more precise actions by stack size and position,


• better distribution of hand combinations,


• ranges closer to modern solver tools,


• a clearer and easier-to-use visual layout.

2. Polishing several training exercises

We’ll review some of the most used poker exercises so that the experience feels more intuitive and
educational:

• outs and draws exercises,


• hand vs hand equity,


• SPR (stack-to-pot ratio),


• best hand comparison.

We want these modules to be even clearer, faster to use and more useful for studying
poker strategy in depth.

3. Preparing new features

Thanks to the new Odoo connection, we’re now ready to move forward with:

• monthly / yearly subscription system,


• a more complete user area,


• exercise and progress history,


• profile customization (nickname, language, settings).

The ultimate goal is to turn Tools of Poker into a complete, simple and powerful poker training
platform.
